First class personalization at no extra cost. We carefully design each itinerary in a personalized fashion, based on a conversation with you about what you want to experience. There is no extra charge for customizing any itinerary, no matter how many times you want to change it. We adjust the itinerary to your interests, activity level, and budget, as much as you want. Our personalized recommendations in hotels, restaurants and activities are up to date and reflect good taste.
We put the interests of our travelers first. We are your advocate in putting your itinerary together. For example, we will not put you into a larger, less interesting hotel simply because we know it’s a hotel that will have space and it will be easier for us to book you there. If the smaller, more interesting hotel or lodge that we prefer doesn’t have space at the time you make your reservation, we will put you on a waitlist and will continue checking it to do everything we can to try to make sure you can stay at that hotel. The large majority of the time, we can get clients into our first choice smaller hotels due to our persistence and connections.

Environmental Commitment: One of our main goals is to help preserve the remaining natural places in the destinations we visit. We choose local suppliers with a strong environmental commitment, often certified by international organizations such as Rainforest International, Conservation International, and the ISO. Our founder is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Galapagos Tour Operators Association, an organization that works to promote genuinely sustainable tourism practices in the Galapagos Islands. We do not promote tours, such as resort tourism, that could be profitable but which are oftentimes a step in the wrong direction in terms of sustainability and cultural impact in the areas where we work. We promote low impact, small scale tourism that is respectful of local cultures and the local environment.
