What Visas Are Required To Visit Machu Picchu and the Galapagos?

Holders of most North American and European passports do not need visas to enter either Ecuador or Peru. The authorities at both countries typically give a 90 day entrance permit upon arrival. Citizens of some countries, including Mexico, need a visa to enter Ecuador. You should double check the visa requirements before booking any trip if you have any questions.
