4 Day / 3 Night Patagonia Cruise from Ushuaia to Ushuaia

Day 1 Board the vessel in Ushuaia / Strait of Magellan
The Australis expedition cruise begins boarding between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., with the Captain and crew giving a welcome cocktail reception on board. Immediately after, the ship will depart for one of the remotest parts of the planet, along the Beagle Channel and Strait of Magellan, to explore one of the most breathtaking wilderness regions in the world: Southern Patagonia, which includes the Tierra del Fuego archipelago.

Day 2 Cape Horn & Wulaia Bay
After sailing through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay we disembark at the Cabo de Hornos (Cape Horn) National Park, weather permitting. We will visit Hornos Island to get a panoramic view of the famous and mythical Cape Horn, the place where the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans merge and the last promontory of South America.

Day 3 Garibaldi Glacier / Pia Glacier / Glacier Alley
In the morning you will enter Garibaldi Fjord and disembark for a hike through the forest up to a glacial waterfall. For those who choose to stay onboard, the Captain will point the bow towards the beautiful blue Garibaldi Glacier so that they can enjoy the panoramic view from the upper decks. In the afternoon you will navigate along the Northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to reach Pia Fjord, where you will disembark, then take a short hike to gain a panoramic view of the spectacular Pia Glacier, which extends from the mountaintops down to the sea. Afterward, you will continue your voyage along the Beagle Channel through the majestic Glacier Alley.

Day 4 Ushuaia
This morning you will arrive at Ushuaia, the most important city in Tierra del Fuego and the southernmost city of its size in the world. Passengers disembark at 8:00 a.m., allowing you to get an early start on visiting the city and national parks, and on continuing your trip through Patagonia.
