Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1       Arrive to Santiago

Arrive to Santiago. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, located in a great area of the pleasant Providencia neighborhood, one of the best areas of Santiago for walking around.

Day 2       Colchagua Valley

Today you start your 2 night / 3 day tour of the Chilean wine country. You will drive south to the Colchagua Valley, where you will have a chance to explore some of Chile’s most famous wineries. You will stay at the historic Casa Silva Winery.

Day 3       Colchagua Valley

Today you will have a half day tour of one of the most renowned wineries in the Colchagua Valley.  After learning, tasting and enjoying lunch, you will be taken back to your hotel and will have the afternoon free.

Day 4       Isla Negra / Casablanca / Valparaiso

Today you drive north with your guide to Isla Negra on the coast, home to Chilean poet Pablo Neruda’s beach house (now a museum), followed by lunch in the Casablanca Valley at Vina Matetic.  After lunch, you will continue to Chile’s primary port, the colorful city of Valpariso.

Day 5       Valparaiso / Santiago

Today you will have a city tour of Valparaiso.  You will visit “Cerro Alegre” and “Cerro Concepcion” two of the many hilltop neighborhoods that add to the unique character of this city.  In the afternoon you will be transferred back to Santiago and will fly home or continue your trip.
