Sylvia Earle: A new, modern polar expedition vessel with extensive amenities
Sylvia Earle is a comfortable basecamp for your next polar adventure, whether you are heading north to summer in the High Arctic or traveling south to explore the waters of Antarctica. This premium expedition ship is built to world-class polar standards and is ready to contend with the possibility of adverse weather and sea conditions while also ensuring full comfort and confidence out on the open ocean. Averaging 132 passengers per voyage, the Sylvia Earle is designed to facilitate easy access to each destination for every guest. The expedition cruise is set up to accommodate up to 100 passengers on all land excursions while also launching groups of kayakers and divers for active explorations along each route. Guests traveling on board the Sylvia Earle will enjoy multiple landings, flexible itineraries, and a family atmosphere as well as a heated saltwater swimming pool, gym, sauna, a glass atrium lounge offering spectacular views, a library, and state-of-the-art lecture facilities.

Accommodations
Captain’s Suite – The largest of all the rooms, the singular Captain’s Suite will take you to the polar regions in ultimate style and comfort. Complete with a large lounge area, balcony, walk-in wardrobe, and ensuite bathroom, you’ll need to get in early to secure this suite.
Junior Suite – The four Junior Suites take in some impressive scenery from their vantage points on Deck 7. When you aren’t enjoying a landing, you can relax in the suites’ separate lounge area, or just watch the world float by from the private balcony.
Balcony Stateroom Superior – With a bit more room to stretch the legs, the Balcony Stateroom Superior cabins are perfect for polar adventurers who travel with plenty of gear. Located on Deck 4 and 6, the Staterooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, ensuite bathrooms, and a comfortable desk area.
Balcony Stateroom Category A – The 23 Balcony Staterooms A premium cabins are the most abundant on board and found in preferred positions on Deck 4 and 6 which provide easy access between Decks via the internal stairs or elevator.
Balcony Stateroom Category B – The 17 Balcony Stateroom B Cabins are standard cabins, many fitted with interconnecting features making them great for families or groups. These cabins are located at the fore and aft of Deck 4 and 6.
Balcony Stateroom Category C – The 11 Balcony Stateroom C cabins are the most economical, fitted with all the necessities, and comfortable for up to 2 people. These cabins are scattered throughout Deck 6.
Aurora Stateroom Superior – With a bit more room to stretch the legs, the Aurora Stateroom Superior cabins are perfect for polar adventurers who travel with plenty of gear. Located on Deck 7, the Staterooms feature French balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, ensuite bathrooms, and a comfortable desk area.
Aurora Stateroom Twin Share – There are three Aurora Stateroom Twin cabins featuring portholes, all with private ensuite bathrooms. Located on Deck 3, they’re close to the mudroom and loading platforms, perfect for adventurers who are looking for a comfortable base that’s close to the action.
Aurora Stateroom Triple Share – There are four Aurora Stateroom Triple cabins featuring portholes, all with private ensuite bathrooms. Located on Deck 3, they’re close to the mudroom and loading platforms. *Please note the Aurora Stateroom Triple cabins are only available on certain departures.
