Robin Brooks
Robin Brooks has visited all seven continents and stopped counting countries a long time ago. She is a Regional Director of the Explorers Club, a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, and has been involved with organizations such as the Africa Wildlife Foundation, The Cheetah Conservation Fund, Planet Madagascar, Project Rhino, Rewilding Europe, The eBioAtlas, and other inspiring projects. Robin has coordinated logistics for expeditions to Madagascar, Turkmenistan, and Nepal. Additionally, she has a cultural census project in Myanmar, documenting the tattooed-faced females of the Chin tribes in Rakhine State. An advocate for the power of relationships, staying positive, empowering local communities and marginalized groups, and the conservation of wildlife and culture, she supports gender equality across the globe. She firmly believes that travel should improve life for the people and places we discover. Though most at home when she's away from home, Robin, her family, and Siberian Husky are based in Toronto on the shores of Georgian Bay, Canada.
