Estancia Rincon Chico

During the 1800s, a French sheep farmer came to Península de Valdés, located in the coastal region of Patagonia, and founded the Estancia Rincon Chico. Today, fifth-generation members of the same family own this charming, comfortable estancia. Its eight rooms tastefully portray the ambiance of a traditional Patagonian farmhouse. The estancia is one of the very few accommodations right on the Peninsula, and it offers privileged access to the elephant seal colonies, guanacos, and other wildlife that make their home here, as well as to the whale watching excursions just offshore that the region is famous for from September through December.

  • We loved Peninsula Valdez and Rincon Chico. Augustine is a fantastic person with such knowledge. If we were to plan the trip over again we would have spent a minimum of 5 days there.
