Tortuga Lodge & Gardens

Tortuga Lodge is situated on 146 acres of private land on Costa Rica’s northeast Caribbean coast. The Tortuguero region is defined by rivers, and can only be reached by boat or plane. The hotel sits right on one of the area’s many waterways and offers boat tours with naturalist guides and excursions into the Tortuguero National Park, one of the most biologically rich rainforests in Central America. The lodge’s Caribbean plantation-style gardens have walking trails and a pool that overlooks the river and a restaurant featuring local ingredients.

During your stay at the lodge, you will make visits into the rainforest with trained guides to experience the sights and sounds of this unique jungle environment. The National Park is home to abundant bird and animal life throughout its series of natural canals and your guides will be there to spot wildlife and help you make the most of the experience.
