Galapagos Family Cruises: The Ultimate Family Travel Experience

Days: 8 | From: $7,850/per adult (significant child discounts available)

A family trip to the Galapagos is sure to be one of your best family travel experiences ever. We have arranged thousands of family trips to the Galapagos, aboard a wide range of vessels. On this page we are highlighting departures aboard the Origin (and its sister ship the Theory) that are specially designed for families with children, with activities and guides chosen to make sure everyone has an unforgettable experience. You'll enjoy daily excursions to remote islands with top quality naturalist guides, who have deep experience working with families. You'll view a stunning array of wildlife at close range, and enjoy snorkeling and kayaking together. Families are generally organized into groups based on the age similarities between the children.

This is one of our top recommendations for a family trip to the Galapagos, but there are many Galapagos vessels that can be a great option for a family trip. The correct one for YOUR family will depend on your travel style, the ages of the kids, your interests, and the specifics of the itinerary. Our Galapagos Destination Specialists know how to match you up with the ideal option for your family, and will give you unbiased advice. Just contact us to discuss your plans.

Dates for Family Departures: There are numerous family departures provided throughout the year. Just let us know when your family would like to travel and we will provide the best available departures for your family.

Please Note: For trips to the Galapagos, two nights before the cruise in either Quito or Guayaquil are strongly recommended. We will be happy to assist you with any land arrangements during your trip, including hotels, transfers, and tours in Quito or other areas of the country. Amazon Lodges are a short flight from Quito over the Andes and are a great addition to a Galapagos family adventure; there are also beautiful family-friendly historic haciendas in the Andes not far from Quito.
