Wa Ale Resort

Wa Ale is a private island eco-lodge set in Myanmar's Myeik Archipelago. The restaurant serves traditional Burmese and international cuisine using ingredients from the island's own garden, local waters, and select mainland suppliers. The open-air spa draws on local ingredients and traditional techniques, and there is also a gym on the property. Other facilities include a swimming pool with ocean views, a beach bar, and open-air lounge areas. The island sits within one of Southeast Asia's last largely intact marine ecosystems, and the lodge runs the Lampi Foundation in support of conservation and local communities.
