This 9-day luxury itinerary combines the history of Athens with two of the Cyclades' most compelling islands. It begins in Athens with a food tour and a full morning at the Acropolis alongside a private guide, before a short flight delivers you to Milos, a volcanic island of sculpted white rock formations, sea caves, and some of the most striking coastline in the Mediterranean. Time here covers the island's most dramatic corners, from the lunar landscape of Sarakiniko to the colored boathouses of Klima and the site where the Venus de Milo was unearthed. A ferry crossing then brings you to Paros for three days, combining an island tour, a catamaran sailing to the hidden coves of Paros and Naxos, and a free day to explore the island at your own pace.

Day 1: Arrive in Athens and Evening Food Tour

Welcome to Greece! Upon arrival at Athens airport, you’ll be met at the gate by VIP airport porters who will assist through passport control and baggage claim before introducing you to your private driver for the transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is yours to settle in. In the early evening, your local guide will meet you in the lobby for a private food and tasting tour of Athens, ending with a traditional Greek souvlaki dinner.

Anthology of Athens is a Michelin Key-awarded hotel in the heart of Athens, directly facing the Acropolis and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Rooms and suites feature marble and wood interiors, many with private balconies and direct views of the Acropolis. The hotel has two restaurants: a rooftop restaurant serving elevated Greek classics beneath views of the Acropolis, and a garden-facing all-day bistro with lighter dishes and artisan beverages. Day 2: The Acropolis

Set out today for a privately guided tour of Athens, beginning with the Acropolis, the city’s most enduring landmark and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visit covers the Parthenon, the Erechtheion and its Caryatid Porch, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Propylaea gateway, with your guide bringing the history and mythology of ancient Athenian civilization into focus throughout.

From there, you’ll continue to the Acropolis Museum, one of the finest archaeological museums in the world, where the original Caryatids, the Parthenon sculptural frieze, and a remarkable collection of Archaic and Classical artifacts are on display. Enjoy lunch at the museum before returning to the hotel, with the afternoon and evening at leisure to explore on your own.

Day 3: Athens to Milos: the Greek Islands

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Athens Airport for your short flight to Milos. A volcanic island in the Cyclades known for its extraordinary coastline of sculpted white rock formations, sea caves, and over 70 beaches, Milos is one of the most visually striking islands in Greece.

On arrival, your local guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to begin exploring at your own pace, or simply enjoy your hotel with sweeping views of the Aegean Sea.

Milos Breeze Boutique Hotel is a seafront hotel in the picturesque fishing village of Pollonia on the Greek island of Milos. The restaurant and pool bar serve seafood and cocktails with sea views, and the hotel also has a spa, boutique shop, and large outdoor swimming pool.

Day 4: Milos by Private Catamaran

Set out on a private catamaran to explore Milos and the neighboring islands of Poliegos and Kimolos. The route is flexible and planned with your skipper based on your preferences, covering sea caves, sculpted rock formations, and secluded coves only accessible by boat. Snorkeling gear and stand-up paddleboards are on board, and homemade food, snacks, and drinks are served throughout the day. The return time is equally flexible: the boat is yours for the day.

Day 5: Milos Villages and Culture

Spend the day exploring the island with a private guide, beginning in Plaka, the hilltop capital, where bougainvillea-lined alleys open onto sweeping views over the Aegean. From there, the route continues to Tripiti, where the ancient Roman Theatre and the site where the Venus de Milo was discovered in 1820 speak to the island’s deep classical history.

After, travel to Sarakiniko, a lunar landscape of smooth white volcanic rock meeting turquoise water that’s unlike anywhere else in the Cyclades. The day winds down in Klima, a fishing village of colorful syrmata, traditional boathouses built directly into the shoreline where fishermen once stored their boats at water level. Lunch is at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Day 6: Ferry to Paros and Explore the Island

A morning ferry crossing brings you from Milos to Paros in just under two hours. On arrival, your guide and driver will take you directly into the island’s highlights, beginning in Parikia with a visit to the Church of Panagia Ekatontapyliani, one of the most significant Byzantine monuments in Greece, followed by a wander through the whitewashed old town.

The tour continues inland to the ancient marble quarries that supplied stone for some of classical antiquity’s greatest sculptures, and the hillside village of Lefkes, built in tiers above the island’s interior. The final stop is Naoussa, a cosmopolitan fishing village with a Venetian castle at the harbor entrance and one of the most picturesque waterfronts in the Cyclades. Lunch is at a local restaurant before checking into your hotel, with the evening at your leisure.
