Day 1:

Welcome to Morocco!

Arrive to Marrakesh, nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Once a famed imperial city, today Marrakesh is a bustling, modern metropolis. From the thriving food stalls and performers of Djemaa El Fna square to the hushed palaces and tranquil Marjorelle gardens, this city has something to suit all interests. The ancient souks of the medina are a network of winding lanes and shops just begging to be explored. Your private guide will be waiting at the airport to whisk you through the city to your boutique riad, your home base as you discover all that Marrakesh has to offer.

This historic boutique riad is located in the heart of the Old Medina of Marrakesh, just minutes from the famed Jemaa el Fna Square. Harkening back to 1930s glamor, this riad features a curated collection of art, unique furniture, and textiles, to create an atmosphere of home while maintaining exceptional personalized service and serving delicious contemporary food. This unique riad is the ideal retreat from the busy streets of the city.

You may also opt to explore the El-Bahia Palace, known for its ornate tiles and peaceful courtyards, or to take in the history of the Saadia Tombs. See the secret garden, the Museum of Photography and the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, and sample exquisite local cuisine.

Adventures in the Red City

Stroll through the tranquil Marjorelle Gardens built by Pierre Berger, partner of Yves Saint Laurent. Inside, witness a maze of cactus and bamboo, as well as the villas where these famed designers lived, painted a striking shade of blue.
