Plaza Grande

The Hotel Plaza Grande is a boutique hotel located in Independence Square, with more than five centuries of history. During the Spanish foundation of Quito, the land where the property is located was given to the famous conqueror Francisco Pizarro. It was the first house built during the foundation of the city in the 16th century and was later inhabited by the most recognized families in the city. At the beginning of the 20th century, it became the first luxury hotel in Quito. It features an onsite restaurant, bar, and 4th floor lounge overlooking the historic plaza.
