Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel

This hotel sits on its own 12 secluded acres in Aguas Calientes, the town located at the base of Machu Picchu. The hotel is ideally located in natural surroundings, a short walk to the train station and the shuttles that take visitors to the ruins, but just outside the town (which is quite touristy). Guests follow stone pathways to their rooms, located in comfortable one-or-two-story whitewashed casitas. Unlike the other hotels in Aguas Calientes, the Pueblo has a privileged location in the natural cloud forest, allowing you to experience the beauty of this unique ecosystem during your stay. This hotel has two onsite restaurants in an elegant glasshouse, a bar, a spa with treatments and massages, and indoor and outdoor lounge areas to take in the scenery.

It should be noted that because of this location you may experience some humidity in your room, but the hotel’s natural location is a highlight not offered by other accommodations in the area. Your stay also includes interesting on-site excursions if you have extra time, including nature walks, birdwatching, and visits to the orchid garden, tea house, and spectacled bear recovery project.
