Belmond Sanctuary Lodge
The Belmond Sanctuary Lodge is the only hotel located adjacent to the ancient Incan citadel of Machu Picchu. It has an exclusive atmosphere and attractive grounds. The ruins open at 6 a.m., and staying here means you can be among the first few people in the site when it opens. Some rooms are more spacious than others. The standard rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, but often have interior views (no views of the ruins or mountains), while the suites have mountain views, terraces, and more space.
